If you were given a free round trip flight to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

If this trip was to be taken this year it would defintely be South Africa, for World Cup 2010! Just being there would be awesome!

In general though, if it were free I would proably go to Australia since that is one place on my list that is pretty much cost prohibitive at the moment. Would love to see the Outback for myself.

    :-)

    That’s a loaded question…
South Africa would be phenomenal, especially during the WC. I just saw Invictus (different sport of course), but was captured by the people, scenes, and even the rugby.
I would probably choose SE Asia primarily for the food (as well as weather, people, culture).
I am a Spanophile, though, and haven’t been back to EspaƱa in several years, so that would be a close second.
China and HK would be great, and I would love to return to Brazil.

    China or North Korea

China, because I lived there for a year and have really been wanting to visit old friends, both ex-pats and locals. There’s also an orphanage out there I’d like to visit…would even consider staying for a year (with my free round-trip ticket) to work for Jesus!

North Korea, because I also visited there once and would love to follow up with a friend I made. Hoping that he will receive the good news that was shared with him, and even if I don’t make it back to NK I hope to see him in Heaven.

Ireland! I love all things green and have an Irish heritage, so that’s top choice for me!

All my life I’ve wanted to go to New York City but never had the chance, so that would be my first choice. My second would be Western Europe– preferably Spain, my favorite country in the world! Ok… my fave of all that I’ve been to… haven’t been to the WHOLE world. Yet. =)

It’s a tie between Edinburgh and Rome for me. :)

Europe! Mainly Italy and Paris, etc. But also England!

I’d love to do a tour of Great Britain and just see it all…London, Ireland, Scotland, Wales…hoping to go someday. :)

Hard choice, but it would be one of these:

Germany/France- to visit my brother and meet my neices I haven’t met all of, yet

Nepal- visit my half brother while he and his wife are on station there

Kenya- to visit church family there, and maybe some mission work could be arranged as well.. which I want to do, really badly, but no chance has come just yet.

Honestly, my first choice would be home to visit my family in California! I live in Southeast Asia and only get to go home every year and a half or so, so the free flight I am waiting for would be that direction!

Maybe Moldova…I have a lot of Moldovian friends and missionary friends there.

    Other than that, somewhere warm!

Anywhere really… No real place I am overly interested in right now. But I love traveling.

    England. I miss it so

I would love to go back to Japan to visit again. If the trip could be long enough, I’d visit some of the places I missed when I lived there before, like Okinawa and Hokkaido.

Ireland. No question. I want to go many places but none compares to my desire to see Ireland.

I’m not sure, but wherever it would be, I would want to ditch the return flight!

I’d love to see a place like Nepal or Tibet, or maybe Mongolia–mountains, open spaces, and colorful people.

Somewhere south of the Equator. I have old college roomies in Australia and N.Z., so probably there. Plus, being able to speak the language is a pretty nice perk!

Bali. I’ve talked to a few well-traveled people and they all said it was their favorite place in the world, which sparked my interest. Someday I’m going! Other than that, I’d like to see Greece, Brazil, Ireland, London and Costa Rica. If I go to Costa Rica, I want to go zip lining through a rain forest.
