What movie do you think should have received more Oscar recognition?

I think “The Road” should have got some credit, but other than that I’m pretty satisfied with the results. “The Hurt Locker” was clearly the best film of the year the other awards seem to be given out based on merit rather than politics.

District 9 not walking away with an Oscar in any category is a bit off-putting.
Inglorious Basterds not taking the screenplay award is really quite silly.
Lastly, how the top grossing film of all time doesn’t walk away with best picture is quite frankly indicative of how out of touch the academy really is.
At least that red haired lady’s Kanye West interruption moment was entertaining.
