Does your email signature include a favorite quote? If so, what is it?

Right now, my email sig. quote is Prov 3:5-6.

It’s actually helping me memorize the verse.

“Whether I am single or married (healthy or injured; stressed or at peace) DOES NOT change God’s character.

Whatever my circumstances, He is worthy and He is good.”

It is a modified Suzanne Gosselin (Boundless.org) quotation.

“It’s not enough to survive. One has to be worthy of surviving. That’s all.”

    Work e-mail:

“As God works through us . . .
We will help people and churches know Jesus Christ and seek His kingdom by providing biblical solutions that spiritually transform individuals and cultures.”

    (That’s our division’s mission statement.)

    Personal e-mail:

“I dwell in possibility.” — Emily Dickinson

Nothing now, but the last one I used was: “So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.” 2 Cor 5:9

My phone number. I don’t really like the long quotes.

My name and my photography website address. : )

I use to change up my sig with some of my favorite quotes, scripture, or quotes that I’d come across and liked. The quote I have right now is: Everyone may be entitled to his own opinion but everyone is not entitled to his own truth. Truth is but one.
    -Doug Groothius

Also a link to my blog which needs to be updated because I don’t typically blog there anymore :)

It’s usually Blessings. I sometimes add-May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace.

I usually don’t have a footer. However, I have recently included my credentials at the end of all application-related material.

Well, this is my older email account but I still love these quotes:

“life is too short, too precious, too painful to waste on worldly bubbles that burst. heaven is too great, hell is too horrible, eternity is too long that we should putter around on the porch of eternity.”
    -john piper

“This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s'”. 2 Chron. 20:15

“That day when you sent me out so boldly to change the world, did you really think there wouldn’t be a cost?” –Luther (the movie)

The signature for my work email account has my credentials and contact information then says:

    “Seek justice…
    Help the oppressed,
    Defend the cause of orphans.”
    Isaiah 1:17

That verse is my battlecry and quite appropriate for my work with foster kids.

One of my personal accounts has my full name and then a line I came up with, “Scratch paper: math _does_ grow on trees.”

    Yes, I’m a nerd. :)

I used to have “I am woman: hear me purr.”

Well, I change my signature (name) depending on who I’m writing to, so one sig would not do it. Too many nicknames I guess.

And, I kind of avoid the Christian sign-offs because I feel I’d be doing it just cause the people I write to do it and I want to look as spiritual as them.

I change it often, but this is my fav quote right now:

“I am not what I ought to be. I am not what I want to be. I am not what I hope to be. But still, I am not what I used to be. And by the grace of God, I am what I am.” ~John Newton

    Matthew 5:14-16
I believe that we are all beacons of God’s love and that it is our job to let his light shine through us.

Jenn, I hear you about avoiding the “look how holy I am” attitude. I never thought much of long quotes or scriptures that ad lots of extra text to the e-mail (bigger file). I doubt many people read them; short or long.

I have the 1-800 number to a prayer line.
